Lay the cover flat on a clean towel in the shade and reshape it while damp so the edges and tassels dry evenly. Avoid harsh detergents, bleach, or direct sunlight for extended drying, as these can fade natural cotton fibres over time. Iron on a low setting only if needed, and always on the reverse side to protect the knotted or crocheted texture. Fluff and reshape tassels by hand after washing for a like new finish.
